Fences Crashed

Explorer too.

I just had a Fences/Explorer crash.  Upon reopening fences, I saw all my icons except a portal was missing, and quick hide wasn't working.  Then, I opened Fences from the all programs menu and I got this.

 

After a reboot all is well, but what happened?

Hello Jim,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more details.

1) Is the issue happened randomly? Is it happen when you apply/change new setting ie theme / wallpapers? Any more details?

2) Can the issue resolve by just restarting Explorer.exe?

3) While you at it please post your Windows 10 version numbers.

Just so I am clear, you had a Fences / Explorer crash for an unknown reason (uncommon I trust) - had an issue with Fences on trying to start it- and a reboot fixed everything - is that correct?

Have you been able to reproduce it since?

Correct, Sean, and no, can't reproduce. So far it was a one off. Nothing else was going on. I was chatting with Tom and Don on Skype is the only other thing, idle PC other than that.
