Windows Media player needs to be easier to use

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

But I just tested it it I'm running Win 10 1909 

Tried 2 DVD's one that I made and one that was Store bought .

and it played a DVD just fine using a couple different 

Media Players //

Try Windows Media Classic player works fine.

If not you might need some Codecs to be installed 

I use K Light Mega pk .

I haven't had a DVD drive installed in a PC in a long time. :)

I'm sorry it took me hours to figure it out, but I did get DVDs to play with windows media player. It was to late to watch the movie.

I never found windows Media Player hard to use.  In fact, quite the opposite, though it does help to have the codecs installed for some of the lesser known media files.

I've used Media Player & VLC but finally settled with Potplayer https://potplayer.daum.net/ and it works so much better than the others.
