The Yor established a Trade Route to the planet "Toria".
In the Trade screen, I cannot offer "Embargo Third-Party" with the Yor to other factions.

Do the Korath and Arceans know about the Yor?

Is there a way to find it out in the game?
This info is not available in the "Diplomacy" screen, or in the "Diplomacy, Report" screen, or in the "Espionage" screen.

Other save files for this bug, it's the same game:

The Yor established Trade Routes with my faction.
My faction does not trade with any other faction.

Relations with Terran: "You are trading with infidels -"
So the Terrans know that the Yor are trading with my faction.

However, my faction cannot offer "Embargo Third-Party" with the Yor.

Relations with Thalan: "You are trading with infidels -"
So the Thalan know that the Yor are trading with my faction.

However, my faction cannot offer "Embargo Third-Party" with the Yor.

Relations with Drath: "You are trading with infidels -"
So the Drath know that the Yor are trading with my faction.

However, my faction cannot offer "Embargo Third-Party" with the Yor.

Sorry if this has been solved/answered elsewhere in the negative (ie I'm wrong about this, which is possible, it's never happened before, though :) ), but:

As I understand the screenshots, you're playing as the Torians and you've got a trade route with the Yor.

You want to tell other races not to trade with the Yor. The GalCiv3 wiki says Embargo Third Party means: Embargo a third party's civilization, refusing the establishment of trade routes and severing existing routes.

Sounds to me like you're trying to ruin the Yor, or at least control them. Does the game refuse you the right to do that because of the diplomatic hit that you'd get from the Yor?

The Yor established trade routes with my faction (I play the Torians).
Third-Party embargo on the left side of the screen means that I am offering an embargo against another faction.

In my case, if I propose an embargo against the Yor, all the trade routes will be canceled and new routes cannot be created (and I believe that I can no longer contact the Yor and them either) for a period of 50 turns, and I would no longer have the "You are trading with infidels -" penalty with other factions.
Other factions can still send and receive Trade ships with the Yor.
However, I cannot propose an embargo on the Yor, because they are not available in the list.

My goal is not to ruin the Yor, |-) I made the plan to have good relations with the Drath and also the Altarian who are "Benevolent" like my faction. :)

It sounds to me like it's W A I.

You can't cancel the trade route - as the Yor established it. Perhaps you have to destroy their trade ship? Once the trade route ends, then you can propose the embargo.

I presume you've been able to do this on earlier builds? In which case, if you have, then I've got it wrong but if you could do what you propose, it seems a bit of a weird way of breaking up a trade route/annoying another race.

In order to offer an embargo or declaration of war to another civ, the two civilizations must have encountered each other.

Actually you can, go to the trade portion of the government screen, select the trade route in question and click cancel trade route.

If the Korath et al have not made contact with the Yor yet, you cannot embargo them, nor make treaties to go to war with them.  You can only do that with civs that both you and your trading partner have made contact with.

So it works that way, thanks for the clarification.
But in this case, why do factions that have not yet met the Yor give me the "You are trading with infidels -" penalty?

I know that it is possible to cancel Trade Routes with a faction one by one in the Govern Civilization, Trade tab screen, but that will not prevent the Yor from creating new Trade Routes with my faction.
I will have to constantly monitor this to cancel each new Trade Route.
It's just going to get boring work.
