What kind of hiccups? Freezes? Low FPS? What are your specs?

short stuttering, just enough to notice. Running i7-8850h w gtx1080, win 10. Not had this before, nothing in the HW logs to give me a clue.  my decktop keeps crashing too, but I think that is gpu (ryzen 9 gtx1080ti). Will get the driver versions.

Yes, I have this.  Sometimes it actually crashes.  My buddy has the same problem.  It occurs mostly on enormous maps.  This problem has been ongoing sine we started playing the game this summer.  It's a persistent problem for us.  When I play on my own and it crashes I have to kill Steam client as well because it gives me an error.  I wonder if Steam is the real problem?  Then restart Steam, Ashes, Load Game, then finish the game.  When it crashes with my buddy hosting on his B450/2700X system you can't Load the Auto Save and continue.  It crashes his machine trying to start the game or simply won't even Load the Auto Saved game.

Been through all the tech support BS, it's not us, it's something in the game.  We have tried so many things ditching the Nvidia card for a Vega did help, still not good.

When we play together we have to use smaller maps, enormous is guaranteed crash fairly through, large we could finish, smaller maps will usually finish okay.

We are using serious hardware, 9900K and 2700X running 32 GBs  3200mhz or higher low latency ram.  He has turned of XMP to see if that works.  I kind of wonder if that is the remaining problem, but then I still crash.   The game plays s buttery smooth except for these momentary glitches or outright sudden crash to desktop for him and crash to error report for me.  We built systems to run this game, so we love the game.  Nice to see someone possibly with this problem, I hope this gets fixed.
