Opening in wrong Drive

As the title states, my copy of SoaSE is downloading itself into my C:\Users\Gey\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion every time I open it.

I bought the game off of Steam years ago when I was still using the C disk drive but now I've transferred everything to my new D drive.

I've uninstalled the game multiple times making sure for it to download straight to my D:\\\steamapps but even then upon starting the app it loads in the nonexistant C:\\\My Games file, creating a new one if I deleted the old.

The game itself works fine but I am trying to download a mod and it wont work in it's current location

 

What do I do?

Game installation and mod directories are two different things. Your game files are going to your D drive but mods are installed in user settings on where your documents folder is which in this case is C drive.
