WindowFX "Make inactive windows semi transparent" slider does nothing

Moving the slider does not affect transparency

Just bought WindowFX6, installed it, and have been trying to use it. For the most part it works fine, except for the following:

 

 - Enable "Make inactive windows semi transparent"

 --- My inactive windows successfully become semi transparent (a bit too transparent)

 - Drag slider to increase/decrease transparency

 --- Result: Nothing. Expected result: Sliding the slider would change how transparent the other windows are.

 

There are similar sliders for other features and they successfully work, just not this one. Looks like it is not connected up correctly.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, on my system it work, just that it might need to make some windows active and inactive couple of times and once that is done will stick.

Here a video I made for that setting.

Ah hah! You're a genius Basj! I was expecting the windows to update as I slid. Not until I clicked on each window (to make them active) and then clicked away again (to make them inactive) did they update to the new value.
