I think it's OK.

That's not to say there can be more diplomatic ways to post an opinion, but an opinion is just that.

Anyone posting artwork for public scrutiny MUST accept that not everyone will like what is offered.

As we all know, darker themed skins attract more complaint/criticism than the more conservative do.

Frankly, there needs to be more people 'pushing the envelope' as neone6 does - whether they are the easiest to read/see/use or not.  It's what generates interest through diversity.

I have to agree with this.

For what it’s worth, I see egos getting bruised and lately activity on this site has been borderline childish sometimes.

This is not the WinCustomize we old timers know. 

Opinions are a lot like assholes, we all have them. Let’s get back to the business of customization, being nice to one another, and when possible, handle differences either with some decorum, or by private message. It used to be that moderators would come into a heated disagreement and “urge” those involved to take it private.

Skin for yourself, and don’t ask for opinions unless you’re fully prepared to accept opposing opinions with some decorum and not get your egos bruised so easily.

 

My 2 cents, FWIW.
