Windows FX Inactive Windows vs Unity 3D!

Compatibility Issue

There are some serious issue with the Inactive Windows feature and Unity3D, would be very very nice if you could investigate on it.

Especially 'cause Unity get constantly updated and adding everytime a bunch the application to exclude, other than be time consuming, often even didn't work at all.

Indeed the Unity screen get completely black when placed unfocused and then, there's no way to restore it, unless you close and re-open the application.

Indeed when I work I've to kill WIndowFX and that's pretty sad.

It does, the "Genie" script is the one.

Looks like Exclude didn't work at all!
I've Excluded Chrome, and Unity and TaskManager, but all still semitrasparent!

I excluded Chrome on mine and it work. Need to turn on and off WindowFX one time after exclude it and it work.

Now I got it!
It's not about exclude "Make Inactive Windows semi transparent", but "Make windows under the active window darken..." which didn't Exclude the selected apps!

The first option on Inactive window, didn't Exclude the selected applications.

Maybe on this way it's more clear.
'cause even after the last update the Exclusion still won't work at all.

I am a little unclear.

Are you using the make windows under the active window darken feature OR the make inactive windows semi transparent one?

Exclusion would impact the second one but not the first.

I'm using the first one, and indeed I was trying to make a request for the Exclusion to darken too

Whilst you can stop a window when active from darkening other windows (right click on the titlebar to select), this is per window and will not impact it when it is inactive as darkening is a global thing.

The darken feature should not impact your app compatibility though, I am not aware of any app which should respond badly to darkening.
