I've been a member of Wincustomize since 2003. I have seen it go from lots of free skins to 99% Premium skins. I can't see paying for a site to download skins that I have to pay for. As for windowblinds, I don't really need it. It uses a lot of rescources. I won't be renewing my membership anymore. I have better things to spend my money on.
Just so you know, around 43% of the sales of Premium (Master) Skins goes to Stardock to support the site, and in my case I give a lot of what I make away to the poor. There are many free skins still being made too. I try to do one every 3rd to 4th submission when I can, and I know other skinners do too. Please don't give up on WinCustomize.
Also, a lot of Master Skins are being resubmitted to fix a Windows 10 issue with the explorer background color, so it may seem like a lot right now, but they are just older skins being resubmitted.
I agree! I have already downloaded every free skin that was any good on here. The bad thing is I have 547 days left. They used to give some free premium stuff on here. As for Stardock I pay for that too, so the comment they get 43% from sales of skins, then I should get that for free!
Just in case you guys missed it, Vampothica recently very kindly made all of her premium skins free.

I liked it better when it had ended on something of a positive note.
Take myself, for example. I am in need of extra income, having been without income for the most of the past 15 years. I have tried selling dreams, not going so well, but then, I only put out one master dream, so far. I too will soon be selling windowblinds here, hopefully. We have to make a living somehow.
Sorry you feel like giving up on WinCustomize. That action by others is why we only have a handful of skinners left here.
The main reason for this is that there are only like 5-7 skinners making windowblinds skins these days, and 3 or 4 of those are masters. Almost every master skinner here still gives away a free skin almost every other skin.
