Transfer Game Progess to new Laptop

After having issues running SoC on the same laptop that I've using for GC2 & 3 for several years it was time to upgrade. I've gotten a machine with enough graphics horsepower to handle most any game. In the mean time I'd been playing SoC on a borrowed machine that I need to return. Both my old and the borrowed laptops run 1920x1080 but the new machine is running 2560x1440. I don't have any saved GC3 games that I need to move but I would like to transfer my SoC progress from the borrowed machine to my new laptop. Can I move the game files with a different resolution to the new laptop or do I just need to start over?

Navigate to the following folder: \Documents\My Games\Siege of Centauri\

Then you want to make sure you copy over the following files:

  • PlayerProgress.dat
  • Unlocks.dat

Use a USB stick or cloud file storage. Copy them over after you have run the game once on your new machine and you should preserve your progress.
