Demigod Input Lag Issue

I am playing Demigod and when I give my character a command the game shows that I gave the character a command, but my character does not execute the command before some time has passed.

Fore example:  I am playing Torch Bearer and I give him a command to move, attack, open a Shop, cast an ability, or activate an item.  The game registers and shows me giving this command the moment that I do so, but Torch Bearer does not execute the command for a specific amount of time (this amount of time is the same for every command and every instance I give him a command).

How can I fix this issue?
