Chrome Not skinning again

Chrome Not skinning again

Missing Chrome Flag?

So Chrome had a flag called:

chrome://flags/#windows10-custom-titlebar

Which you could disable Chrome's Windows10-custom-titlebar but now the option is not there anymore and WindowsBlind does not skin Chrome anymore? Any idea how to make Chrome skinnable again?

Whatever you do, don't use that stupid WebUI Tab Strip feature, it ruins everything!

Hey there

So, I've got my Chrome launching from a shortcut with the --disable-windows10-custom-titlebar bit, and any new Chrome window themes just fine... but any time I resize the window, the titlebar for that window goes invisible.  Any idea what might be causing that?

It didn't work for me either at first but I figured out to put a little space between the exe and where you put the dash for disable

chrome.exe" -disable-

It seems google chrome will not skin in the latest version, it just shows blank buttons. I guess they have removed the ability to do it properly

When will this get fixed? -_-

What needs fixing?

In order to support WB you must 1) enable the option in WB and 2) add the command line parameter required to start Chrome.

If you do these things chrome should skin the titlebars just fine.

The Microsoft Edge version of Chromium seems to work except for the minimize, maximize close and rollup buttons not accepting pen input when using Surface Pen on a Surface Pro in tablet mode. Finger touch on the screen works but not when using the Surface Pen.

When the keyboard is attached the touch pad works OK.

This only happens with Microsoft Edge. Other applications the buttons function correctly using the Surface Pen.

Sorry Neil, but it doesn't skin Chrome correctly at all, I have tried multiple times, doing everything as per instructions. Does not skin Chrome, and there are no titlebar glyph's at all. But if you click on the area the glyph would be in they perform their function correctly, so they are just invisible.

Did you unload WindowBlinds by applying the default Windows theme and then restart WindowBlinds after completely closing Chrome. Not just the app but the quick start in the system tray also. Just asking.
