I've been looking for one of those, or something similar.... around 10" - 15" screen size so it's fairly portable.
15 bucks, though??? I'm only seeing brand new ones up around the AU$300 mark. That's more than I want to pay right now so I'll keep it on hold until finances are more fluid and I find a better price.
Mark, we have a place here called Unclaimed Baggage. I saw one there for 20.00 not too long ago. Had it in my hand but changed my mind before checkout. I now wish I had gotten it. Would be a nice second monitor for my MacBook pro.
They're going for about $110(US) on eBay. It's 1366x768 and still had the plastic wrap on it. I figured for $15 if it doesn't work I'll bring it back. I'm amazed that are no power cables just an usb.
Found the same price on amazon. Also one that goes for a whopping three hundred. Not that I'm looking. Lol
I'm hoping to find something along those lines.... for far less than AU$300 or so. So far I've only seen then brand new and going at AU retail prices.... which are twice or thrice that of US prices.

I'll check out Amazon and eBay, but often we still get the Au prices because many traders in the US trading at US prices don't ship to Australia. Nevertheless, I'll check them out, though the monotor will have to wait until we've moved back to Tasmania. around late August early September. As it it we have already had to delay leaving due to finances.
Updated to new WB 10.8.... I don't see any improvements or something New.... Someone was saying "Good old Transparency is back"..... It is NOT

What I miss, where does transparency not work?
Don the skins you have done are fine. Transparency works. I don't know how transparency was done in the past. Did all skinners do it the same way? What I see is that this is hit or miss. The fix Jim "Redneck Dude" came up with works sometimes but not always. I can definitely say that the transparency for Acadia by Z71 and Naked Noir by Vstyler does not work. Some other older skins work ok but some do not. I don't have a list and I'm just going with the flow. What works works and what doesn't work doesn't work. What else can you do?
Ahh, ok, maybe the older skins weren't set to transparent, and left on blur, in SKS, I don't know. I'm wondering ( I could be wrong) if the older skins would have to be "updated" for them to work in the new version of WB, just guessing.

I got Naked Noir to work now. I was not applying the fix correctly.
Windows Background Inside the frames used to be able to be transparent... not just a color
