It seems that right now, tourism is the end all, be all of income generation. The adjacency bonuses are pretty strong and lead to perhaps as much as an order of magnitude too much tourism revenue.
Would it be possible to review and check how much it is generating?
IMHO the adjacency bonuses are not the problem. It just shouldn't be tied to the ZOI -it grows way faster than the rest of your economy. If it must be tied to influence, it could be associated to the influence value at the location of the planet.
A new patch is in the works that has reconfigured tourism so it shouldn't be as strong as it is currently.
