Game dont start

Have a big problem: Game dont start at friends computer. At my computer all works fine. But at his computer the game crashes after pushing start button in the launcher.

We find out that the devs exe is playable. During searching for a solution we tested starting game in windowed mode. (we allowed window mode in the settings file). Taht works too. It is startable in windows mode so why we cant start it the normal way?

Inet say lot of things about windows 10 updates that causes troubles. Also the solution to disable antivir software dont work. Also allowing the exe in windows firewall dont work.

Hope any dev can help us.

Try browsing to C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Setting and deleting the rebellion.user.setting file. Does the game start normally after that?

Another option could be to run as administrator. Particularly if you are running this through steam and have started steam as administrator.

 

If that Doesn't work try using the compatibility option to run as windows 8. Oddly enough that works 9/10 times for me.
