Final Fantasy VII is one of my all-time favorite video games ever. I was 15 during its initial release and I remember first playing it at a friend's house. I was completely blown away by its graphics, combat system, and story. In fact, I made sure to save enough to a PlayStation and the game so I could play it at home.
I played the hell out of Final Fantasy VII, even ignoring my girlfriend's aggressive advances one time we were alone at my house. Yes - I was a teenager who was more entranced in a video game than the opposite sex, but in my defense, the story was something I've never experienced before.
Do you have any memories of Final Fantasy VII you'd like to share? Given its release on the Nintendo Switch, I think now would be a good time to relive some of our fond memories of the game.
