Marvel Cinematic Universe - Anything and Everything

What's your favorite film in the MCU? Favorite character?

Personally, I love the majority of them and it makes it difficult to pick just one. As excited as I am to see Endgame and the conclusion of 10 years of films, I also hate goodbyes, lol. I've grown attached to the characters and the actors who have played them.

I think, as a film, Winter Soldier may be the best put together. But from a pure action and enjoyment standpoint, I really love The Avengers.

For pure shits and giggles I love the two Deadpool movies best. if I want to get a little serious I think the best ones have been Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther. I like them all! I wish they'd make a better Fantastic 4 movie though. The ones they made are OK but not really great. Fantastic 4 was my favorite back in the day.

I've been a Marvel guy for a long time. I have a lot of the the comic books from the 60's which I bought in the 60's! They aren't in the best shape but they aren't too bad either. I've only sold a few and that was when I was in financial distress. I've managed to hang on to most of my collection. I would like to pass them on to my daughters. The problem there is that they don't really care about them. At home I get comments about how I like "comic book movies". Hell yeah i do! Comics are a important part of my life!

I think that is just where I stand as well. Many of the movies had great moments, but these two stood above the rest to me for the exact reasons you stated.

Marvel IP, but not technically MCU moves, at least not yet! :)

And I am excited to see what they do with the Fantastic 4, they've all been between disappointing to terrible so far, of course that is only my very subjective opinion.

I absolutely LOVE the Deadpool movies! Honestly, I think that Deadpool 2 captured the theme of "family" (which to me is a cornerstone of what X-Men is all about) better than any other of the X-Men films did, except perhaps for Logan, which is also totally in a league of its own.

I never got into Fantastic 4 too much, but I hope they turn it back around and make a great film out of it! The ones they put out some years ago definitely didn't hold my interest at all.

What I'd like to see is a movie based on Prince Namor and his connection to the MCU's version of Atlantis.

I recently watched the original Iron Man and I forgot what a fantastic film that was. It had great pacing, action sequences, and the writing was really good.
