.Faction files unpack with winrar

So I successfully unpacked a .Faction file for a custom race but it only has description.txt and a save.tmp file in it. not all the other xml files you might expect. anyone know how to edit out of the game a custom race that was created in the game?

I have been here since day 1 and have never heard anybody even trying this trick.  You are pioneering and I wish you tons of luck.

As do I. There are some custom color combinations that I can make with the in game civ creator, and I want to transfer them to my custom race. (My custom race was not made with the civ builder) Did it the old fashioned way to add custom techs and improvements, etc, etc.

In myfiles/factions I have a group of 3 files totaling 1.8g after making a zip of them.

Could this be what you are looking for.
