Ashampoo Backup Pro 11 Download link is wrong

The link provided under "My Downloads" and at the site at the product download page downloads the Driver Updater program, not the Backup Pro program it is supposed to send. Please fix the link or place a link here that I can grab my new software from. Happy New Year to all. Thanks!

I resolved this issue.

Note you must have an internet connection to use this solution!

Having purchased other Ashampoo software (directly from Ashampoo), here is how to resolve the issue.

First, go to Ashampoo.com website (www.ashampoo.com). At the top right of the screen you will see a login. If you don't have an account, create one then once logged on to your account go to the 'Licenses' page and select the product you just purchased from the drop-down selection, "Ashampoo Backup Pro 11", then copy the license key you received into the license key box, and click 'Add License Key'.

You should receive license successfully added notice. (You may have to refresh this page.) At the bottom license page you will find your Ashampoo license along with a download link for the 'correct version of the' software which is 11 not the trial version on the main Backup page which is 12, for which the license doesn't work (I tried it).

When the software has downloaded, install it and when it opens with the initial screen of extending the software, click the 'Activate' selection, enter the email address used to setup you Ashampoo account and the password and the software will automatically be activated on your machine, or you can wait until Stardock gets the correct link setup.

I may be dense, but I don't see a 'licenses' page. I requested an email with my product keys, and the email had a link to download the product, and that link was wrong! There is no download trial link anywhere that I can find.

This is a know issue and should be corrected by tomorrow

Hi Ken, what I did was download the trial copy from the link below, installed it and then activated it using the serial number I received when I bought it.  Hope that helps.  Regards, Jeff
