Crackling/popping audio

I have an AMD A10-5800K APU 4.20 Ghz, 6.95GB usable RAM(8 in total), 64 bit Windows 7 OS

Graphics card is a Geforce GTX 750 Ti

Anyways

The game runs fine, at least 90% of it does, but one problem I'm having that is really an ear sore is how my audio crackles and pops sometimes, especially things like drones most definitely noticeably crackle and pop a lot.

Any ideas of how to fix this?

Do you have the same issues when using different audio sources? (Headphones, speakers, etc.)
