Is Multiplicity a lifetime license or 1 year subscription?

I have has Start 8 and 10 for years and think they were a one time purchase.

So, Multiplicity is different?  It is acquired from Stardock via an automatic recurring payment subscription method?

If you purchase MP as a stand-alone product it is a lifetime license for that version.
