Bug Report - When pressing close button in Windows Explorer window with multiple tabs open it only closes active tab

Steps to reproduce.

1 - Open Windows Explorer,

2 - Open multiple tabs of Windows Explorer in same window,

3 - Press close button of the window of Windows explorer,

4 - Result - closes only active tab.

Desired result: Should close the entire window (with all contained active tabs). If I want to close each tab individually I would do so in the close button of each tab.

IMPORTANT: This behaviour also occurs in grouped LibreOffice and grouped Microsoft Office instances.

I updated the bug report. I performed a couple more tests and got some things wrong. If possible update the report for the devs as well.

All the best.

This is not a bug.

Groupy is working as designed.

The close top right will close the foreground window.  You can close all by right clicking on the group tabs and selecting the option to close all.

I don't think that is a bug. Some user, including me, prefer that button only close active window. But there were few feature requests by user to have another button added as "Close all windows in this group" recorded in our Feature request list for Groupy.

Thank you,

I would prefer that Groupy would change the functionality of the Windows close buttons: press close button, close window, and not close tab.

Hopefully this could be included as option in the settings?

Otherwise if I have multiple tabs open, I need two clicks to close a window.
