Ok if this is the MenkMack messing with me OK. But seriously I go there to complete the Greegox quest and there are no planets around the star??
Sorry to hear you are having trouble.
If you could upload a savegame to a cloud service (DropBox, Google Drive, One Drive, Paste Bin) and post a link here, the developers can take a look at it.
Savegames are located in \Documents\My Games\Star Control\Saves

I just went to do that and things seem to have resolved.
I did one restart last night and it had no effect on the game. I loaded the most recent AutoSave slot; the image was of a empty solar system. and when I loaded Pi3 Orionis was just a Star with no Planets.
I did another restart this morning.
When I saw this message I went to reload the autosave to make sure it was the correct one It took a loooong time to load up. When it was done everything was back. I immediately re-saved and now the image shows a populated solar system.
