Can't Install Windows 7 On My New Laptop, If Someone Wants My Second OEM Key Let Me Know

This is really frustrating and saddening. So I've spent quite a lot of time trying to be able to install Windows 7 Pro on my new laptop but it looks like I can't. I've tried everything including flashing the BIOS. I also posted my issue online to see what others had to say about it and someone mentioned that since my laptop is new Windows 7 most likely isnt able to recognize the new hardware. I'm tired of messing with it. I'll most likely just install 8.1 and theme it up to look like 7. So I had bought 2 Windows 7 Pro OEM keys and have only used 1 for my Alienware desktop that I'm currently using to post this message. I'm most likely not going to use the 2nd one and don't want it to just sit there. If someone wants it and will use it just let me know and I'll randomly pick someone.

If the Lappy has a UEFI 'bios' [or even DDR4 ram] then installing 7 is going to be 'difficult' but not entirely impossible.

This machine [I'm typing on] suffered the same fate...but sufficient hoop-jumping-throughs....and it's been fine [though more often than not still needs 3 hard boots to actually succeed - booting].

Hey VampireFox, I could use it for a spare desktop I'm building as a gaming machine and media hub to connect to my TV in the loungeroom.  It would play some of the older games that 8.1 and 10 don't.

I did have a Win 7 Pro copy but gave it to my sister, who in turn gave it to my niece when she went to Win 10.

Anyhow, it's a nice thing you're doing and thanks for the kind offer to the community.

This is a bit late, but for what it's worth. I tried installing Windows 7 to my old laptop (Sony Vaio Pro), and it didn't want to. In the end, I had to modify the ISO completely to add USB3 support (something Windows 7 doesn't like and doesn't support natively), and then flash it to a USB key using Rufus. Worked after that, but yes, it was tedious. Maybe your system only has USB3 ports?

Potentially, For the specs it says it has one USB2 port and a USB3 port. I swear If it was because I used the wrong usb port I'm gonna be pissed. XD I'll have to try installing it again using both ports.
