Quality of Life: Resource Upgrades

Attaching Engineers to them and clicking on a menu instead?

Hi, so on late game maps, I've found that resource node management turns into a mess of cannons and spam builds. From a quality of life perspective, this becomes just a mindless clickfest. Instead, can we manage to auto build by attaching engineers to the resource node, and then having a menu that comes up unique to the resource node when we click on it, which contains all the upgrades for the node?

 

E.g. Air turret +1, Air turret damage +1, Light turret +1, light turret +1, etc.

 

I don't think my suggestion's feasible, but I think it serves to illustrate what I mean by quality of life.

Better still, make it work like reinforcements. You don't even need the engineer present. You click on the node, build out the defense that you want, and it just calls to an idle engineer.

 It is an interesting thought to managing node defense. I like it.
