Assistance With Editing Out Superweapons (or increasing TAC slot requirement, either/or)

Hello Everyone,

I was just reading this thread:

OP asked for help removing super weapons and another user was kind enough to explain, however, it didn't make a lot of sense to me.

I wanted to ask if someone could kind of hold my hand and guide me through that?  I really enjoy this game and have always wanted to remove super weapons, but don't want to corrupt my game.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Charles,

 

go to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\GameInfo

 

When you are in that folder, open the following file with the text editor:

 

Gameplay.constants (You can order the folder by size, it is the file with 33 kb)

 

In that file, change the following line:

Old:   cannonsPerGravityWellRatio 1

New:  cannonsPerGravityWellRatio 0

 

Save the text file.

 

If i remeber correct, it will work this way.
