Conversation Loop - Tywom Urin

I'm on my third play through of the Star Control: Origins campaign and I am experiencing a new bug (most likely introduced with the last update). If I start a conversation with Tywom Urin beside the Monitor Deep Starbase there is no way to exit the dialogue. After each item he just asks 'Is there anything else you want to know?'

Not game breaking, but it means that I am unable to communicate with the Radiant Angels since the only way to translate their language is from entering into dialogue with Urin. I play on steam and have already verified the integrity of my game files.

Same deal for me. I was looking for a console or something that could at least end the conversation. I'm stuck with 3 conversation items and not ability to leave.

Yeah, and another report of the same bug here. Hopefully we can get a dev to weigh in on the issue soon.

I've done some testing and found the exact trigger that breaks this conversation. If you go to Theta Lynx and talk to Kaleigh the Kzanti that is orbiting Theta Lynx II you have 3 possible options. Discontinue conversation, give 10,000 RU, or give Pink Lorris Egg.

If discontinue the conversation you will have the normal dialogue options with Urin (ie. be able to leave the convo). If you give either 10,000 RU or the Pink Lorris Egg it breaks Urin's conversation options and you will not be able to exit the conversation without manually closing your game.

Hope this helps a dev fix the issue.

That would explain why I have the same problem - I gave the pink lorris egg to the Kzanti. Thanks @dcprouse. I reported it in a different thread (probably incorrectly):
