New Update Content Unavailable?

 

I recently updated to the new multiverse DLC, and I'm not seeing the new content in-game. I can access the multiverse section, but the editors are still disabled, and the new system scanner module isn't available in-game.  The client version says 1.10, and I've tried reinstalling Star Control, enabling the DLC in steam, and opting-in to the beta program, but the new content just isn't appearing.  

 

Any help would be appreciated.
