Infinite Enemy Ships

I went deep into Scryve space to try out my suped up Vindicator.  After slaughtering about 30 guys in the system, I decided to leave.  Upon leaving the system, however, I was greeted by an enemy ship.  Upon killing that ship, I immediately had to fight another ship.  An hour or two and hundreds of dead Scryve ships later, I am still locked in an endless loop.  Unfortunately, I have no saves to go back to.  I guess there goes 12 hours.  This wasn't the first time that I have gotten screwed by endless ships, only this time I can't even move before getting attacked (that playthrough I had remembered to save first).

You may have wandered into a system with endlessly respawning enemies that appear at the outskirts of the system. I found a place like that, though it wasn't in their space. Most systems if I blow them away they don't come back.

That is exactly that happened.  My first officer gave me a warning that the Scryve were defending this system more than normal and that we should leave.  But, when I started to leave, I could see a Juggernaut within the system, but outside the hyper limit.  I headed towards it and got more than I bargained for when I entered hyperspace.

Probably screwed :( I have a similar problem in unknown space where some player-made gigantor ship attacks me before I have a chance to retreat. One trick I will try to use is to set the auto-pilot to see if I can evade since it tends to get you going quickly. I was testing out a different weapon load out and wasn't expecting to need my optimal load out. Wasn't a pretty fight.
