Video Card Not Supported

Every time I try to boot up the game, I get an error window that states: "Unable to Initialize Graphics System; Video Card Not Supported"; Currently using Intel HD Graphics 3000 built in chip on a Toshiba Satellite A665; 12 GB of RAM; I've since reinstalled Direct X, ensured all drivers are properly installed, reinstalled the game thrice, and validated installation on Steam three times each installation, but to no avail it isn't working. Is the video card unsuported? I'd love to play this game, but if Its just not going to run on my computer, I'll have no choice, but to get my refund.

Steam notes the minimum requirement to be an Intel HD 520, which is a Skylake integrated GPU. Your GPU is a Sandy Bridge integrated GPU, which is 4 generations older.

Brad said they might come up with a way for people to play this on old systems a few weeks ago. Haven't heard any news on it, though. We're in the same situation. I'd really like to play this, what a shame. :/

I'm running a AMD RX580 in one of my machines as well, and haven't had any issues so far. What driver version are you running?
