I have updated my Windows 10 Laptop and after the update DeskScapes stopped working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled DeskScapes to see if it would help, but it did not work. The software is not able to apply the wallpapers I want to see on my desktop.

Try the Purge it does more than a regular uninstall.

Do you use a second monitor with different resolutions? If so you might be hitting this issue.
1809 is NOT supported at this time. thats actually been told to us in this forum.
I had a similar problem after my PC updated to 1809 this morning. The desktop wasn't animating and new wallpapers wouldn't apply. The background previews for videos wouldn't display either. Uninstalling and reinstalling, then later purging had no effect.
What seems to have done the trick is updating the Nvidia display drivers. The backgrounds started previewing after this, but it took another reboot for the desktops to apply and animate properly.
I don't know if this is the same as the original problem, but it might help anyone searching the same symptoms.
Good advise updating videos drivers and always reboot ..
