I can affirm that I'm additionally having issues with deskscapes on the most recent 1809 windows assemble. For my situation deskscapes deals with one screen however not on 2. In the event Mangazuki.me that I incapacitate my second screen, it works fine. In the event that I empower 2 screens, all I get is a dark screen, paying little heed to what deskscape I've tried up until this point.

Luckily I have not installed 1809 on my work PC, yet - but we expect to deploy 1809 to all of our users at some point, so I'd hope by then there's resolution.

I have 1809 installed on my home theater PC where I want to display DeskScapes through my projector in my great room - I am awaiting resolution before I pick up a second license for that.

Same problem for me too.  3 monitors different resolutions, posting so I can subscribe to the discussion.

Heads up 1809 17763.107 is re-rolling back out to every one via windows update, windows upgrade assistant, and windows media creation tool.

So I hope starddock gets there entire line up of software for windows 10 up to date for the new build

I updated 1809 .. 107 then it updated to 134 and all is working fine so far for me

just had to re install my printer software but Stardock apps are working still testing ..

DS worked fine on 1803 since I upgraded now when I apply my screens turn black even if I use it for just wallpaper.

I'll just have to reinstall it again.

works fine for me No black screen . changes from wall to dreams

EDIT... On Single Monitor

the biggest issue is multi monitors and different screen resolutions on multi-monitor setups

I'm using a 1920x1200 main screen and a 1920x1080 second monitor.

im personally using 3x11980p (in NV surround) and it works fine..

people reporting issue when using lets say a 720p and 1080p and u try to stretch the video them both.. or if u have off "set" monitor lay outs.. (regarding spammed wallpaper (video) displaying 1 separate videos per a display works regardless as far as I know on the new 1809 build

I've just tested it.  Situation remains the same.  Works fine on a single monitor (as it always did).  Non-functional with black screens on multi-monitors where the screens have different native resolutions.

Well this explains why it worked on my HTPC which has a 4k TV as a single monitor with 1809, but my gaming box with three screens (1920x1200 - 2560x1600 - 1920x1200) does not work.  Looking forward to a resolution.

now the update is basically out and in the wild (as of the 13th of Nov) I'd love to have an update on when we can expect a fix. I get that we had to wait until the Update to 1809 was live for certain..

but the resounding silence since 4th October on this from the main team is not that heartening..

I've temporally uninstalled (no point having it installed doing nothing) until it's fixed...

Deskscapes works fine on a single monitor running 1809.

The Multi Monitor with asst. resolutions is a know issue.

Yes 1809 .107 was out a few days ago for a lot of people but

also has updated itself since then. I would think MS has to 

settle on a final version before a fix can be adapted .

When a fix is available it will be posted for all .

No ETA at this time though .

and yup I know it works with a single monitor, and that Multimonitor is an issue, I've been in the thread for weeks you know and kept upto date. 

and if we're waiting for a final version, we can give up totally until next year when the next big update is out...

I have to say I agree with KhaiJB.  This issue has been going on for weeks now and all we keep being told is "it's a known issue" with no ETA.  The bottom line is we've paid for a program and currently it's not fit for purpose because it completely breaks as soon as you have a second monitor with a differing resolution, which many people do. 

And the statement of "oh we may have to wait for a final windows version" is ridiculous.  There will never be a final windows version.  That was the whole point of Windows 10.  So the idea of waiting for a final version is an exercise in futility.

Technically, the first drop of 1809 was the final version.  It just got pulled because of a technical issue that had nothing to do with monitor support.  Now it's dropped again and the situation with the Deskscapes breaking is still there.  I think it's safe to assume at this point that it's not going to magically disappear anytime soon with some random Windows update that may or may not ever actually materialize.  That's wishful thinking.  I think you can safely assume at this point, that whatever they did in 1809 that broke deskscapes in multimonitor scenarios is here to stay.

So please investigate and fix this.  I think we've been pretty patient about this issue thus far.

the final windows October update is 17763.107 (that's the ISO/Build OEM and "clean installs are officially now receiving.)

2 october to 1 december.

2 months and counting.

oh and thats with constant promotional emails about buying more software.

right now.. no. trust in the company standing by their products is rapidly fading.
