Weird Hail

hello my friends at stardock

best game in years..

one problem with star control tho:

i get hailed by some alien who is says a bunch of giberish and there is not much dialog, but the ship immediately re-hails me again and again, im stuck in this spot of space. i cant get away from him ...

help!

Happened to me too, there is already a thread on this here:

Basically i reloaded an earlier save and avoided him to continue.
