Drenken ears

after visiting the menkmack homeworld, I gaind a captins log telling me to go to epsilon fatum to find a menkmack who knows more about why the two races have an extra ear.

when I get there, there are no menkmacks on any of the planets/moons or trundling about the solar-system and I can't progres the mision (which i belive is a roundabout way to save the squid people)

is this only hapaning to me?

am I doing something wrong?

You have to talk with the Drenkend until they tell you to go there.
