First Contact achievements are not working

Exactly what the topic says. I've jumped into SCO, and I'm a bit overwhelmed by the number of the things to do here. :)

So far, I've met the Tywom, the Scryve, the Mysterious Aliens, the Mu'Kay, the Drenkend, the Norast, and the Kzanti, but none of the First Contact achievements have been unlocked yet.
