Prevent AI "Players" from using Custom Races

Hello all! I love having custom races in GalCiv, but I want them to be available to the player only. When I start a new game I like to choose random opponents so I never know who I'm gonna play against, but I don't want the custom races to show up as an opponent. Does that make sense? Is there a way to do that? A way to modify the custom race so they are only usable by the player?

Thanks in advance!

only way to prevent that is to delete them after you play as them

it is a feature of the game, to use your own awesome custom made civs against you

If you made the factions via the ingame builder, what he said ^^.

Otherwise you can always transfer the Civs to xml. Then you can set the "HideFromSelection" flag to true before you boot the game to "hide" factions you do not want that session.

This sounds perfect. I'll give that a shot. Thank you!
