You can choose if you want it to start at startup, if that dasn't work, you have to change the boot shell from explorer.exe to litestep.exe

Atlest, if you are running win ME or above, I think litestep isn't really ment for win 98 or lower.... crashed my hd for over 4 times till I installed me...

If it dasn't work, just wait for jafo or moshi, they will be able to help you further from this.

LiteSTEP works on all flavours of windows [after win 3.11, that is].

If you are running a non NT-based Win ver, eg. 95 or 98 then it is quite a simple matter to edit the system.ini to revert to the standard shell.

If you are in NT/2K/XP then there are a few registry settings to change...and the simpler solution is to install and run a shell manager/switcher such as ShellON.....that will give you the option to select a shell including the default Explorer on boot up...

Jafo;

Have you given ShellOn V3 rc1 or any of the betas a test drive yet? It looks pretty good.

jcg....yes...the very early V3...but it seemed a bit buggy for my liking so I went back to V2.....shall have another look at the latest version though...

Sorry, I dont quite catch that jafo, you mean the 'old fasion' way so I have to put the images nest to eachother in 1 file? (like anutill das?)

Styl try Jafo's Nijikon Fetchi theme ...the first version, he uses the rainmation module for the shortcuts on the left. It's very nice.

Styl...there's a couple of modules that enable animations....rainmation is the oldest of them and reads a folder of sequentially numbered bmps....and these can have alpha-blending masks for semi transparency and also magic pink and real transparency as well. Animations can respond to all states of mouse over, entry, exit, click etc......it's quite configurable, actually...

Sounds nice, just have to get used to the modules and stuff Ah well, I will just rip your, and give you 1 download by doing that

If I have a skin that is animated, can I upload an previeuw images as a .gif file?
