Fences activation expires every 2 months

Hi,

I'm using Fences 3.0.8.1 on Windows 10.

I had to activate it off-line. But I have to perform all this activation process like every two months and I'm fed up with it ! And so are my co-workers also using Fences.

I guess the firewall does not allow Fences to check its license status.

If I'm right, what is the address that should be allowed, or the rule that should be added. If not, I need some help !

Are we to assume that your 'co-workers' are experiencing the same thing, LB?

Also, depending on how you purchased Fences (corp or retail), if you are running out of activations, the retail version will prompt and say something to the effect 'Hey, you are out of activation, do you want me to disable the others so you can activate?'

If they do, as they do, it will kick all of you off (not immediately). If you are kicked, it would follow that you have to activate again.

The corp version just says 'talk to your IT admin' to avoid mass deacts like that.

That said, you can always keep an eye on who, what and when any PC is activated to see if this is an issue on your account page.  You can see how that works here:

https://forums.stardock.com/486311/accounts-and-activation-support-faq#reviewactivations

That said, if you do not believe that is the case, that you are not bumping yourselves with a retail version (has 5 total activations), I need some License.sig files from:

\ProgramData\Stardock\Fences3

They need to be sigs that you have not already re-activated - ones that are saying you are not activated and you don't know why.  You can send me the sig(s) via ticket (do not post them here):

https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit/RenderForm/33

Please include a short description and a link to this forum.

I really want you to be sure you are not bumping yourselves first though as this will include dev time to look at sigs and if its found that this was the case, it would be time wasted on both ends.
