Crash on start up a new skirmish

Hi,

I haven't played the game in a while, but I do remember playing it on my box a few months ago. Since then, I haven't installed anything fancy on the box (it's basically used for games and development).

Today, I wanted to play. The game crashed when I wanted to start a skirmish. Nothing makes much sense, the GPU drivers are still the same (AMD 15.7.1), but then Visual Studio did update several time, but it should still be compatible.

Any ideas?

Off the top of my head I would try verifying the installation if through Steam and check on the latest driver updates.

15.7.1 are the latest driver AMD recommends for my card (at least that's what the automatic update tells me).

Trying to uninstall/reinstall it, just for the sake of trying this.

Actually, that worked, strangely. I resetted my settings as well.

So it's fixed now. Odd still.

Very odd, doesn't work anymore after an AMD driver "update" information.

So definitely something not working between Ashes and AMD. How can I have this fixed?

Seems like I have to reset my settings each time. But that's _very_ annoying (for instance to remove the music, setting up the skirmish...)

Very disappointed in Stardocks lack of response and help on this matter. I can't play the game.
