So I copied the Terran Alliance to make my own version of humanity but when started all of Sol's planets except Earth had the wrong names.
Anyway to fix this?
Set homeworld to the name of the system you want. Homeworld name always overides System and Planet names when creating a custom faction. Bug, intentional who knows (devs never confirm or deny) but its been around forever.
But then I'd only be able to rename Earth and Mars (upon colonization). I know its only only cosmetic but Saturn deserves some respect as a planet. Bad enough we lost Pluto.
If it bugs you that much you can always make your faction old fashioned way and make a xml mod.
