Has the Icon package creation process changed?

Will ANYONE answer werewolf's simple question?

September 9, 2016 14: 21:47 from WinCustomize ForumsWinCustomize Forums

Has anything changed with the process of creating an icon package? Just curious as there hasn't been a new icon package for almost a year.

Are there any tutorials for creating a full, complete Win10 Icon set?

Thanks,

David

Hi. I'm wondering why a member (werewolf) has been waiting 3 years for a reply. Are the moderators all asleep? Does no-one help anyone anymore? Are the knowledgeable too busy or TOO good to answer the simple questions?

I too am curious and request an answer? I can't seem to find the selection for producing icon packages anymore. I've made them (I'm sure) with previous versions of Icon Packager. Has it been hidden, stolen or just fallen by the wayside? AND...how are the NEW packages being produced...magic?

Give us an ANSWER, and ONE we can USE!

Regards,

SilverBeard

I can't tell you about a 3 year old thread.

I can say not many are being made maybe that is why no one sees Icon threads. However there was just a very nice set uploaded a few days ago. Perhaps you can PM this person for some advise. The link below. I would be happy to help except and never made icons.

download icon packager and icon developer here from wincustomize.

once those are installed start creating  your icons on a 256h x256w png background and save them all in a folder.  When you are done, drag them one by one to icon developer to turn them into ico format.

After that you then create a new icon pack in icon packager, and drag your new ico format icons into icon packager, when finished, name and save.....done.
