I hate to do this, but....

I have noticed lately, that there have been a lot of unsavory additions to the screenshots library. I emailed Jafo about this and he deleted a number of them, but of course, they still keep comin' in. B1uesummers in particular with some others coming SS Goku etc. I am wondering if maybe screenshots arent obliged to go through moderation...That could be a prob.

Now some of you may not agree with me...(People's moral standards being different and all)...but I dont think its right for a "family site" to be displaying this kind of crap. Basically what Im asking is, could someone please remove the ones you see fit and to make sure these people dont do it again.

I agree with Jafo. The little girlie in the right hand corner juxtaposed with the center image and the pin up calendar adds a bit of a pedophilic tone to it. JMO.

I would rather they keep those screenshots, they are peoples personal preferences and should be allow as such, I also have an Animee picture on my desktop and various others for variety, and find them quite relaxing to look at.

If you don't like them, nobody is forcing you to look.

This is an applications skinning site. It is not people magazine, its not maxim magazine, its not japanese animated art website.

Its not about censorship its about your friend sitting next to you that is offended by it and is no longer comfortable about a situation. Help him/her out. Its like CAPS LOCK YELLING or cursing. no one's censoring you from doing it at all. We just ask that you refrain from it while you are here.

Because you seem WAY too concerned about someone's anime background than you should be.

Its not about defending WC, its about defending authors who'd like to post what they see fit, and obviously, the admins see it as fit.

I don't see the harm in the pic.
So someone's 5 year old kids sees it. What harm has it done?
The kind isn't likely to grow and be a rapist, and if he/she did, it wouldn't be because of one screenshot.(more likely childhood trauma or bad parenting)
I doubt the screenshot will give the child a drug dependancy in later years.
I don't think it will cause the childs eyes to burst into flames and melt.

Really, where's the harm in that screenshot?

Maybe you missed the whole thing that kids are shooting each other in elementary schools these days and its so plastered all over the news and talked about in the classrooms (my 13 year old nephew mentioned it last i saw him) that the reality of someone's desktop image is NOTHING!

Or howabout that 13 year olds are having sex and getting pregnant?

Or that these same kids can probably get better drugs than were available in the 70's right down their school halls?

Why don't you dump your energy on those topics? They might be better suited there, rather than worrying about a desktop image on a website.
