Taskbar button shows in task bar of wrong monitor

When using multiple monitors

Even if the group is instantiated in the right hand monitor and all windows it contains were opened in the right hand monitor - the task bar buttons of the non-active windows in a group show in the task bar of the left hand monitor.

This is confusing and weakens Groupy's usefulness. After all Groupy is designed to tidy things up - not make a mess.

Is this a known issue and is there any intention to ensure all task bar buttons show in the monitor in which the group itself currently resides?

Or is there a setting I'm missing?

Even the setting "Only show a task bar button for the active window in a group" doesn't fix the problem.

Hello,

Maybe you can try purge and reinstall steps and make sure install the latest version.

and get the latest from here : http://storage.stardock.com/files/beta/Groupy1.12_rc_sd.exe

If you have disabled the option to hide additional taskbar buttons then Groupy has no influence over the positioning of the taskbar buttons.

The taskbar buttons will appear on the monitor that the windows are located on depending on how windows is configured.  This is the same with or without Groupy.

That's not the case.

Without Groupy the task bar buttons show on the task bar of the monitor the window is located in.

That is not happening with Groupy -  the task bar buttons of the inactive windows always show on the left hand monitor task bar even when Groupy is located wholly in the right hand monitor.

That happens with or without the option "Only show a task bar button for the active window in a group" which doesn't seem to make any difference at all.
