Controll Rollup Fences

Move your mouse to top of fence, left click and hold mouse button and move it wherever you wish.

Note: You can't place it on the side and have it roll out sideways.

DaveBax has good suggestion, however if you want the rolled up fence in the middle of the desktop

it will not stay there. Depending on how many objects are in the fence it might go back to the top

or to the bottom.  It wants to always have all your icon displayed, so I guess that is the nature of the beast.

To get it to stay in the middle you probably need to reduce the number of icons for a short fence.

OOPS I found out if you use the mouse to shorten the size of the rolled up fence, then you may position

it anywhere. The downside of this is you do not see all the icons at once. You must use the scroll bar

on the fence (generated when you shorten the fence) to scroll up or down to see all the icons.

So DaveBax is correct that you can position it anywhere, just a matter if you want to see all the icons

at once, or use the scroll bar.

Is there by now a way to control the roll-up speed? Often the fence rolls-up before i have a change to click.
