Fences swaps icons between two monitors

Fences swaps icons between two monitors

I'm running Fences on Win 10 on a two-monitor setup (1920x1080 & 1280x1024).  Occasionally after awaking Windows, I find the Fences and the desktop icons have switched from one monitor to the other.  Why does it do this and can it be prevented?

REALLY LOL

It's January 30, 2024 and Fences 4 still has this issue.

Mediocrity at it's best!

At this point I want a refund. I don't mind paying once it is fixed but not until then.

I have a 3 monitor setup and usually only use 2 - the third is a 50" TV. A couple of days ago my fences disappeared. As I've been reading, this is nothing new; I guess I've been lucky since it hasn't happened in the last 5+ years I've been using Fences. Moved everything back multiple times and also reset the registry several times. Even when set to monitor 2 everything moved to monitor 3. Is anything being done to fix this glitch? Is there any information I can provide to help diagnose the problem?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. If you not done it yet, please try Fences 5.53. There is a new layout engine on this build. Try it out and if you still have issue, please try to follow the "Troubleshooting" steps mentioned in the first post in this thread: https://forums.stardock.com/528229/.

Thank you.
