Rework skin from XP to 10

Greetings

I wanted to ask. Is there a way to rework an existing skin to make it compatible with Windows 10? There is a skin for Windows XP which worked for Vista too, but since Seven, it became obsolete and there were many visual errors.

I tried to look for a way to easily update an existing skin, but couldn't get any luck.

I'm not an artist, but if there are some simple steps to make a skin for XP ready for Windows 10, I would really be willing to try it.

Thank you very much.

There's no easy/automatic way to convert an XP skin to Win10.  You'd need to use SkinStudio (which should be available for download in your Stardock account) to add or modify the various parts.  Some basic image editing skills and software would be extremely helpful, perhaps "required", not necessarily "artistic" level.

An XP skin will never look exactly the same on Win10, there are some parts on Win10 that just can't be skinned in the same manner.  You can however end up with a very similar and usable skin, particularly if you are willing to forgive some differences/imperfections.

Sorry, there's just not a 1-2-3 way to do it.

I see. Thank you for your reply. It's already great to know I can take a skin to edit it.

I will see what I can do, with some luck, I will understand how to do it and ending with something compatible and great looking.
