Media Play Not Working in SysMerix

Is there a trick in getting the Media Player buttons to work in some the excellent skin sthat are available? All the other buttons work fine - but not the Media Player ones

Those buttons are Wnamp controllers and only work with Winamp 2.
So if you don't have that installed, or use V3, that's why you're having problems.

Thanks Hippy - I made a huge leap forward. One more question - when I do the "toggle power" when winamp is closed - it still starts Win Media Player not Winamp - any ideas?

I've been having a devil of a time with this last one also. What has happened is that Media Player has stolen the .mp3 association. Go into winamp and select all file types. Now sysmetrix should work OK. Now if I could just get real player to stop grabbing everything I'll be a happy camper.

Werewolf, Just take out the checks for real player and don't let it automatically update itself or they may get rechecked.

thanks chasUGC did that and it worked, but when I use explorer and navigate to my music files, all the icons are for real player. I manually adjusted the file type in the explorer file types thing and all is ok now.

Werewolf is right - SysMetrix just launches whatever application you happen to have associated with .mp3 files from Windows. It can be a little misleading in that it will start up another player (besides the two that it natively supports - WinAmp2 and QCD Player) but not control it. One of these days when I have more time...
