Confused about tab colours

Only got groupy yesterday so haven't played with it much but I'm confused about the Tab colour selection.

When I set default active tab colour to red for instance. I expected my active tab colour to change to Red.

But it always stays white. the unselected tabs stay grey until I mouse over them and they turn Red temporarily !!

Is that how it works? seems wrong to me.

also I want to add a vote to be able to save groups, as this would make Groupy so much better

In 1.01 you have a (confusing) 4 menu options to set each tab color depending on the windows focus state.
Focused active/inactive and unfocused active/inactive.
If you want to completely control the colour scheme of groupy you have to setup each color there for each state. The white background was bugging me too in previous version but it's gone now.

As for saving groups depending on title (or even better regex/partial name) would be really cool I agree. Saving them and managing entire sessions of windows would definitely make groupy something well above the competition.

The colours primarily only impact the above window tabs.  When a tab is integrated with the titlebar the colour is always white as this will always match appropriately with the window.

We are looking into offering an expanded range of controllable colours so you have further control over things.

Ah!  Thanks but I have just noticed something..

I have been having trouble with resizing some windows lately, mainly opera and my email client but others as well.

Opera can't adjust the width for instance and to adjust the height you can only drag up from the top, not the bottom.

Anyway with breezy auto sizing windows when automatically grouping Browser windows this has become more annoying and I had the idea it might be WindowBlinds causing it. So I disabled WindowBlinds and not only do the windows resize as normal but the Tabs on groupy now go red when I select them!

So it looks like you have a bug with the interaction with WindowBlinds.

To be honest I have found WindowBlinds fairly buggy in general so I will stop using it.
