Why don't motherboards power peripherals?
Stupid question.... Your RAM doesn't need to be plugged in...
....either does you CPU(just its cooler)
and the new M2 drives get juice from the board.
So why the need for GPU separate cables, etc..? I know GPU's use more juice, but could'nt the board just feed it more through the board?
Imagine building a machine and all it needs cable wise would be the main cable from the PSU to the motherboard.
