Lots of issues with DX12 and Vulcan. Pixels on explosions

Examples inside

I’m experiencing lots of bugs and crashes both on DX12 and Vulcan. For example on big explosions I see pixels. Take a look at these two videos:

DX12 can flicker on menus and story videos.

Vulcan one time just showed black screen with some garbage on it.

DX11 works okay, but I see pixels on explosions too.

What’s going on? I’m on a powerful laptop that has no issues in other games and benchmarks. Drivers are the latest.

When i'm playing Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation in DX12 mode i'm catching lots of errors with two different descriptions in event manager:

Code
  1. The description for Event ID 13 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
  2. If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
  3. The following information was included with the event:
  4. \Device\Video3
  5. Graphics Exception: ESR 0x404490=0x80000001
  6. the message resource is present but the message is not found in the string/message table

Based on a quick google, this exact error message has appeared for other games. Best guess, there’s a bad device somewhere on your PCIe bus and/or loose connection. Is the GPU MXM in that laptop or soldered on?

Lol, geforce guys (from forum) navigated me here. Honestly, AotS is the only game making such errors on my PC.
